Miji Lee

b. 1995
Miji Lee is a curator and researcher based in Seoul. Her practice spans exhibition-making, publishing, and curatorial research, with a focus on cultural hybridity,  locality, and spectatorship. Attending to the intersections of sensation, language, and space, she explores how exhibitions and publications can become structures for reading, encounter, and translation across different cultural and historical strata. With a background in design and art theory, she continues to develop exhibitions and text-based collaborations mediated by books, speech, images, and temporal forms.

She has held curatorial positions at the 7th Changwon Sculpture Biennale (silent apple, 2024), the 12th Seoul Mediacity Biennale (THIS TOO, IS A MAP, Seoul Museum of Art, 2023), and other institutional contexts. She was selected for the Doosan Curator Workshop and the KOFICE NEXT Program (2022).
